UWCSEA

this yr has started oh-so-well.
on the 12th Jan, my agent called me ard 2 plus asking me whether i am interested in temp job at an international sch at Tamps. of course i was interested! it beats doing nothing at home. by 5pm she informed me that I was chosen and work starts on the next day!

woah. tt's fast! so friday the thirteen was my first day of work.
i really like the atmosphere and the work that I've done so far and was really hoping that my company wld hire me! but knowing that I am under my agent, I am not supposed to be converted until after 6 mths. =(

upon the fourth day of my temp job, whilst the Heads of HR&Finance and my supervisor were undergoin interviews, my supervisor, A asked me whether I am interested. OF COURSE I AM! she informed that she will take me into consideration and see from then.

at ard 330pm, A called me down for a "chit-chat". it turns out to be an interview! the next day, D (Head of HR) called me in and informed me that i got the job! being converted!!

officially on the 20th Jan, i will start work as a perm. =) =) just in time for my CNY!

so far, things has been good and i love it here.

here's to 2012! lookign forward to better things to come!

UWCSEA

It went past so fast!
Got a call at 230pm from my agent asking me whether I would be interested in a temp job at an international school at tamps on a short assignment. Which i replied, yes! i'm def am.
by 5pm, she called again and informed that I got the job! rushed all the way to JP to sign the contract and to get more details abt the job.
and i'm starting work tml!! 745am til 430pm!

anyway gotta zzz soon! =)
may tml be a good first day!

Sis's Wedding Preparation

Emotions was high yesterday! mum got stressed (even more than usual) and she broke down abit at blk 37. aunts and uncles managed to calm her down. and soo thankful for that!

due to some unforeseen circumstances, the wedding cake that I initially wanted to get for my sis (see pic below)

has been cancelled. Miscommunication or should I say lack of communication between the two parties.
So I have been on the hunt since this morning to find a replacement. as gary would say and i quote "STRESS!" lol. okay. those who watched RM shd get the joke.

managed to search from cupcakemomma on fb, cake avenue and e-creative online. saw some pretty ones! will be showing the pics over to my sis to get her opinions on them.

on another note, I wanna buy Haba Labo! soo wanna try it for my dry dry oh so dry skin. gah.

still in the midst of finding a job and I feel that I'm not up for an accounts position. ah. don't wanna bring up this depressing topic so early in the new year!!

ah! my sis is home! gotta show her the pics!
